Experience / from games to silicon

From a game at eight
to silicon today.

A game got me curious about how things work. Robotics changed the questions I asked, and apps and a clothing brand taught me to build for other people. Here’s how I found my way to VLSI.

It started with a game.

I didn’t plan a straight route to VLSI. Games pulled me toward robotics, and robotics made me curious about what happens inside a machine.

AGE 08

The game I wanted to make

Playing Prince of Persia (1989) made me want to create a game of my own. I kept wondering how the people and places on screen were made.

AGE 10

From games to robots

By ten, I was more interested in robotics and science. I wanted to know how a machine sensed what was around it and decided what to do next.

AGE 13

A first bit of recognition

At thirteen, I received the Raman Young Science Innovator Award (RYSI). It encouraged me to keep testing my ideas instead of leaving them as ideas.

AGE 15

Apps for local stores

At fifteen, I taught myself React Native, built billing apps for local stores, and sold them. It was my first time making software that became part of someone’s workday.

AGE 16

A T-shirt designed together

At sixteen, I started a custom clothing brand. Customers met my team, described what they wanted, and watched us design the shirt with them. We delivered it within seven days.

TODAY

Closer to the brain of the machine

I cared less about how a robot moved than how it sensed and thought. That led me to VLSI, the circuits behind a machine’s behavior.

2026 to present

Founder & Captain · Chip Designers Guild

I lead student RTL, verification, FPGA, and ASIC projects at VIT Chennai. The guild is affiliated with the VLSI Society of India.

VIT CHENNAI
2026 to present

R&D Intern · Sentrix Robotics

I’m working on an STM32-based platform that collects tactile and environmental data for Physical AI research. Its prototype latency is below 50 ms.

ROBOTICS
2026 to present

Founder · TapeItOut

I’m building tools to automate open-source ASIC flows and report quality of results, including DRC and LVS checks.
